A THINNER THANKSGIVING ; 8 Skinny T-Day recipes to be thankful for.

MainWP
Sometimes it’s hard to enjoy Thanksgiving when the thought of trying to lose the usually gained 2-10 pounds is looming over your (turkey-gorging) head. To help alleviate this unnecessary holiday stress, we’ve put together a few recipes and tips to make your T-Day dishes subtly skinny so that you enjoy your feast with abandon without abandoning your waistline.

Seize the Salad

Start by filling up on a big, veggie-dense salad. We’re not talking the iceberg lettuce and ranch dressing variety, but rather something composed of actual, whole, nutrient-rich vegetables.

Thanksgiving Green Salad

This salad feels light but is surprisingly filling, with lots of leafy greens, dried and fresh fruit, and nuts.

Cue Cauliflower

Swap out the usual mashed potatoes with mashed cauliflower. Your dish will taste about the same (if not better!), but with half the calories.

Mock Mashed Potatoes

Parmesan and garlic combine to make this dish a flavor sensation.

Go Organic

Splurge on an organic turkey; regular store-bought turkeys tend to have a ton of added sodium. After the big day, try leftover turkey on something healthier and more exciting than sandwich bread.

Asian Turkey Cabbage Cups

The Asian flavor of this über-light dish will provide some welcome relief from more traditional T-day tastes.

Don’t Miss Dessert

Desserts don’t have to be over-the-top rich to be good. In fact, sometimes it’s nice to have a lighter sweet option at the end of such a big meal. Also, remember that you can always substitute oil with a with fruit puree like applesauce when baking.

Cranberry Pineapple Sauce

Cranberry sauce goes au natural, replacing most of the sugar called for in traditional recipes with pineapple.

Fat Blocking Pepsi, Anyone ?

Yes , FAT BLOCKING PEPSI. It is no gimmick or lies. A fat blocking pepsi was introduced yesterday in Japan. Am shocked as you are, does it really work? I guess you would have to wait to find out...

Pepsi Special

It sounds like a dieter's dream. Drink soda and lose weight. It's junk food with a healthy sheen and it's a real Pepsi product out in Japan.
Pepsi Special is special because of an added ingredient: dextrin, the same stuff found in Benefiber. It's a water-soluble fiber supplement that may also have some extracurricular effects with feelings of fullness and a reduction in fat absorption.
According to a study published in Appetite in 2011, soluble fiber dextrin increased participants' sense of satiety and decreased the amount of energy absorbed from the next meal. How that finding translates to a dextrin-charged soda is up for discussion.
Pepsi Special will get a nationwide release in Japan on November 13, and it's unlikely to be a big hit with the Sumo community. The advertising materials promise it will have a crisp and refreshing Pepsi flavor that hides the fibery aspects of the drink. There is no mention yet of how many calories it contains. A bottle will sell for just under $2.
Government-approved fat-blocking sodas are a recent development in Japan. Another dextrin soda called Kirin Mets Cola came out earlier this year after receiving clearance from the Japan Health Food & Nutrition Food Association. Pepsi Special has attained the same official "Foods for Specified Health Uses" designation. I guess that means soda pop can qualify as a health food.
Japan's reputation as country of thin people makes it a curious choice for an anti-fat-absorption drink, but perhaps it's just a test run before reaching out to the soda-slurping American market. Of course, we can't help but wonder.

Meet The Human Barbie Valerie Lukyanova.

Twenty-one-year-old Lukyanova refers to herself as "most famous woman of the Russian-speaking Internet" and often uses the alias "Amatue," which means sun goddess.  She hails from the Moldavian city of Tiraspol, and currently has 466 videos uploaded to her YouTube accounwith over 16 million views and 535,000 Facebook fans. She was early to the living doll movement, but she tells V, "Indeed, I've noticed a trend. "Every good-looking woman with fine features and a slim figure looks like a doll. I won't deny that I play along with people's perceptions. I'm amused by the reactions. I don't take it seriously."

Strong reactions to Lukyanova's appearance are not surprising. With her large glassy eyes (enhanced by makeup and contact lenses), long platinum blond hair, Gumby-like limbs, and disproportionate chest to waist ratio, the Ukrainian YouTube star really does look like she belongs in a Mattel box on a toy shelf. But despite her unrealistic exterior and confusing claims on her website that she is "endowed by nature with extraordinary external data," this woman is real.
So what is the average day like for a human Barbie like Lukyanova? "In the morning I work on my face and I get a massage, then I spend some time on the Internet," she tells V magazine. "I meditate and travel in my astral body, and after that I work out at the gym. I go for a walk with my best girlfriend, I get home, and I make dinner for the man I love. Then I spend some more time on the Internet, do some reading and meditating, and go to bed." Yup, all in a day's work.
Lukynova encounters many haters in online forums, but she isn't deterred by them. "I know the other side of celebrity is negativity, but I see it in a positive light. If people care about me, then I am on the right path," she says. "I'm happy I seem unreal to them, it means I'm doing a good job. It's hard work, but they dismiss it as something done by surgeons or computer artists. This is how they justify not wanting to strive for self-improvement. "

X Factor week 1, part 1. Both Tulisa and Nicole went for scraped back hair dos, but entirely different frocks. Tulisa’s navy blue satin number is playful and girly, whereas Nicole decided to flaunt her curves in an aysmetrical sheer and leather dress. Verdict: Nicole’s the winner here, in her ultra-flattering ensemble.

X Factor week 1 part 2: Tulisa decided to channel her inner Barbie, with this bubblegum pink mini dress, paired with bright pink lipgloss. We’re not sure about those black shoe boots, but…er…hello cleavage! Nicole also rocked a fitted mini dress, but hers was a less bright gold number. We love her simple accessories – just a thin bracelet – and her poker straight hair. Verdict: Nicole wins again.

X Factor week 2 part 1. The girls went for cold silver and grey tones, but rocked very different looks. Nicole went for a metallic mini dress teamed with gigantic platform stilettos. Tulisa, however,

X Factor week 2 part 1. The girls went for cold silver and grey tones, but rocked very different looks. Nicole went for a metallic mini dress teamed with gigantic platform stilettos. Tulisa, however, kept her look simple, wearing a draped shift dress. We also love her girly wavy hair. Verdict: Tulisa wins her first X Factor fashion victory.

X Factor week 2, part 2. We do love a good maxi dress – and this week, both ladies wowed in full-length numbers. Nicole’s sexy maxi had a lace panel AND a thigh-high split, ticking all the boxes. Tuli

X Factor week 2, part 2. We do love a good maxi dress – and this week, both ladies wowed in full-length numbers. Nicole’s sexy maxi had a lace panel AND a thigh-high split, ticking all the boxes. Tulisa’s long sleeved patterned dress showed off her curves to perfection. Verdict: We love both dresses, but Nicole’s dramatic dress is more fitting for the occasion.

X Factor week 3, part 1. Tulisa flaunted her curves again in this seriously sexy black pencil skirt and lacy green bracelet combo. Nicole went all out with a flared tutu-style skirt teamed with dramatic hair and accessories. Verdict: We prefer Tulisa’s understated glamour, here. Nicole’s look is a little too bold for our liking.

X Factor week 3, part 2. Our jaws dropped when we saw Tulisa and Nicole in these incredible dresses. We loved Tulisa’s shimmering prom dress and chic hairstyle. However, Nicole took sexiness to whole new levels in this short, boob flashing dress. *fans self* Verdict: Err, Nicole.

Adele Welcomes Baby Boy.

Adele Gives Birth to a Baby Boy!

Adele better brush up on her lullabies!
The eight-time Grammy winner has given birth to a healthy baby boy, a source tells Us Weekly. It is the first child for Adele and the second for her boyfriend, Simon Konecki, who has a five-year-old daughter with ex-wife Clary Fisher.
In the time since confirming her pregnancy on her official blog in July, the 24-year-old pop star has remained largely out of the spotlight as she focused on her baby-to-be. "The baby is healthy and she's so excited!" an Adele confidant told Us Weekly in late September.
Going back into the recording studio to belt out "Skyfall," the theme song for the new James Bond film just prior to giving birth, Adele is also working on her next full-length album. Her new music, a source explains, will be inspired in large part by her new bundle of joy.
"The pregnancy has had a big impact on her songwriting!" explains the insider, who tells Us the new album will be lighter in tone than her breakup-themed disc 21, released in early 2011.
New music isn't the only thing the busy mom has on her upcoming agenda. She and Konecki, 38, are anxious to wed! Raised by a single mom, a pal tells Us that Adele "wants a low-key affair where her mother gives her away."
More than anything, says the insider, "she wants to be a wife and mom."

Big Congrats to her.

JLO Brings Daugther To Paris Fashion Week.

The 4-year-old girl accompanied her mother to the Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday. The ladies arrived hand-in-hand — walking a few steps in front of Lopez's boyfriend, Casper Smart — at the Grand Palais for the big event. Lopez, 43, had on a plunging lace dress and black pointed-toe shoes. Emme wore a pink dress and shoes with a white cardigan and butterfly purse.
She is such a cutie, isnt she?

8 Ways To Be A Happier Mom.

8 Ways to be a Happier Mom8 Ways to be a Happier Mom

While our greatest hope is for our children to turn into happy adults, most of us moms grit our teeth a fair amount on the road there. After we hustle our kids off to soccer practice, shop for dinner and hunt down the perfect kindergarten, we are left with little inspiration to model the one thing we most wish for our children: happiness. It's not that we don't want to be happy. It's more a question of how to fit it into our schedule. Read on for some practical tips from parenting experts on how to move "be happy" to the top of your to-do list.

1. Be Yourself
Much of our stress and irritation as parents comes from trying to live up to impossible standards. "Mothers universally feel that they 'are never good enough,'" says Meg Meeker, MD, author ofThe 10 Habits of Happy Mothers: Reclaiming Our Passion, Purpose and Sanity. A lot of these feelings of inadequacy come from comparing ourselves with other moms and competing in ways both small (bringing an elaborate dish to the potluck) and large (pushing our kids to achieve on the playing field). "It's tempting to look around us to see if we measure up with other moms," says Meagan Francis, author of The Happiest Mom: 10 Secrets to Enjoying Motherhood, "but when we're comparing our private lives to somebody else's public game face, we're not getting a very accurate picture." Francis adds that the best way to be a happy mom-and a good mom-is to be yourself. "Don't try to be anyone else's version of what a good mother should be," Francis says. "Be the best version of who you are, and your children will recognize that and learn from it." Think about your own strengths and work them into your everyday life as a mom. Maybe sewing costumes isn't your thing, but you love to bake. This Halloween, buy costumes even though all the other moms are making theirs, and instead bake a batch of cookies to munch on while you all get ready to go trick-or-treating. When you play up your strengths as a parent, you are bound to have more fun and be happier.

2. Pencil in Solitude
Routinely setting aside time to go for a walk, write in a journal or read a book is one simple way you can raise your daily happiness quotient. "Mothers contend with so much stimulation during the day that life becomes overwhelming. From kids crying and older children needing homework help to answering cell phones and replying to emails, mothers can feel as though their nervous system is becoming fried," says Dr. Meeker. Solitude is a necessity for our mental health. "Solitude achieves two very important purposes," Dr. Meeker explains. "First, it allows mothers to quiet the 'noise' in their lives so that they can refresh themselves and hear themselves think. It allows our nervous system to slow down and become quieter so that we can recharge mentally, physically and emotionally. Second, solitude gives us a reprieve from giving. No woman can sustain constant giving to other humans (even if they are children) without a break." If you don't have even a half-hour to yourself each day, it may be time to reassess your to-do list. For example, do the brownies for this year's bake sale really need to be made from scratch? Probably not-and by opting for the easier method, you can carve out a little bit of time for yourself.

3. Practice "Slow Family Time"
Slowing down the rush of family life has been one of the keys to happiness for Tsh Oxenreider, creator of SimpleMom.net and author of Organized Simplicity. "For our family," Oxenreider says, "we've defined slowing down as 'moving together at a deliberate and unhurried pace.' When we slow down, we're able to choose how to spend the 24 hours in each day, and therefore find more meaning in our activities." Oxenreider achieves this by planning activities around family life, not the other way around: "Each Sunday, my husband and I meet to talk about our upcoming week. It only takes 30 minutes, but that brief connection gives us a chance to look at our calendars and decide how many evenings we'll schedule out of the house, how we can help each other with upcoming tasks and how to dictate our commitments, instead of letting our commitments dictate us." For other families, "slow family time" might mean leaving unstructured time in your schedule or simply hanging out with your kids at home with no particular plans or goal in mind.

4. Put Your Girlfriends Back on the Schedule
One of the quickest routes to getting your smile back is picking up the phone and calling a friend. Remember how good it feels to catch up? So often we put our friends on the back burner when we become mothers, forgetting that friendships are an essential source of joy. "Friends act as a tremendous support, but they also contribute to a mother's happiness by acting as a release valve," Dr. Meeker says. "When frustration or other emotions run high in a mom, a woman friend can provide a safe place for her to vent. And a key to a mother's sanity and happiness is having an outlet for intense emotions." Feel like you don't have time for friends? Try the multitasking approach: Exercise with a friend, invite another mother over while your kids play in the backyard, offer to drive a mom to the baby-and-me class or invite a single girlfriend over for Sunday dinner.

5. Create a Weekly No-Work Day
Once upon a time, Sunday was strictly a day off. No one went to work and most stores were closed. It was a day to recharge and spend time with family. But with the advent of email and flexible schedules, any day can now be a work day-and any time can be work time. By integrating a regular "No Work Day" into your family's weekly routine, moms can create more time for family fun while decreasing household stress levels. To pull off a day without work, family members will need to join forces in preparation for the day, including agreeing upon guidelines such as no checking email or work phone calls. To ensure that it's a day off for stay-at-home parents as well, plan to work together the day before to clean up the house and prepare heat-and-eat meals such as lasagna or chili. If a full day dedicated to not working seems like too much of a leap from your current hectic schedule, start off with just one evening: one night a week, have the family gather to relax and play games or watch a movie with cell phones and computers off. The kids might balk at first, but soon they too will see the benefit of a time designated exclusively to leisure.

6. Share Your Passion with Your Kids
Somewhere between the afterschool shuffle and the rush to make dinner, many of us have lost track of our own passions. We are so in the habit of standing on the sidelines of our children's activities that we've forgotten to share our own hobbies and passions with them. However, when you share the activities you like and enjoy with your kids, you will most likely be laughing, smiling and showing what happiness looks like to the people you care about the most. Think about simple ways you can enjoy your passions with your kids. Are you a music lover? Break out your CDs or old LPs and play DJ. Love to paint? Sit down with your kids and make art with them. By doing what we enjoy, we model happiness and show our children who we are.

7. Conquer Clutter
"Clutter is one of my biggest cranky-mom triggers," Francis says. And most moms would agree that a messy house is one of their primary obstacles in the pursuit of happiness. "Adopt a no-prisoners approach to clutter control," she suggests. "Toss unneeded papers in the recycling bin daily, come up with a simple system for keeping track of pending bills and paperwork, and, most important, become ruthless about which papers you're willing to keep in the first place." Having a routine can also help contain clutter. Have every member of the house do the same thing when they come home for the day: Hang up their coats (be sure to have a row of child-height hooks near the foyer), put shoes in the closet and place backpacks, purses, briefcases, keys and lunchboxes in their designated spots.

8. Outsource It
"We can't do it all," Francis reminds us, "and just because something needs to be done doesn't mean that you need to do it." Acknowledging that we can't all hire household help, Francis suggests using a more flexible definition of 'outsourcing' for getting the help we need. "When we all focus on what skills and talents we bring to the table-without any shame for the stuff we aren't so great at-we can meet our kids' needs without having to try to do everything ourselves," Francis says. Assess each family member's skill set and delegate duties based on ability. Have a teenager who's good at math? Assign her to help your middle school-age son with his algebra homework. Is one of your kids great at organizing? Assign him to create order out of a pile of mismatched plastic food containers. "We're all good at different things," Francis explains. "And it makes a lot of sense to divvy up household and parenting tasks by interest, skill and available time." Apply the same concept of teamwork to cleaning the house, too. Hold 10-minute tidy-up sessions: Gather your family, cue up the dance tunes and set the timer for 10 minutes. You'll be surprised how much you can get done working together-and how much fun you'll have doing it!

Dazzling Colours For Your Body Shape.

Rock a spark of color that can also flatter your body shape this summer.
Best Brights to Create Curves
Dare to bare seriously sexy curves in all-over lemon. Bright shades draw attention to wherever they're placed, so a straight and slender Ruler figures can fully embrace a light-reflecting shade wherever your body needs a little boost. Remember, bright colors amplify, lending a straight shape more  contour.
Best Brights for a Big Bust
Got a curvaceous bust? Downplay a larger chest by drawing all eyes away from the area. A pair of candy pink jeans diverts attention away from your bustline and showcases great legs. With colored denim, keep the rest of your look simple. Pair them with a black, white or other neutral, muted shade on your top half.

Best Brights for Curvy Hips and Thighs
Hourglass and Triangle shapes can downplay a fuller bottom-half by wearing lime on top. A bold blouse is the perfect way to draw attention away from full hips and up towards your face. An extra bonus: light-reflecting shades instantly brighten your entire face helping you look younger. Pair a lime-color blouse with dark-wash jeans for even skinnier-looking hips and thighs.

Best Brights to Create a Tiny Waist
Create a teeny, tiny waistline in a cinch! A belt is the simplest way to highlight your natural waistline, especially if you're a Circle shape. The addition of a bright tangerine belt against a solid shade dress whittles your middle instantly.

Best Bright Shade for Beauty
A tangerine or coral lip is one of the quickest ways to add vibrancy to your complexion, and makes just about everyone look fresh and fabulous.

Top It Off With Some Color
Get protection from the summer sun-with style. I'm obsessed with this straw fedora and its splash of neon. If you're nervous about fully embracing any trend, such as neon, the easiest way is to dip your a toe into the trend with an accessory.

Kate Middleton 'Lands Her First Marie Claire Cover'

Did the Duchess of  Cambridge actually pose for a photo shoot? Until i read this through. Her face was bought from a photo shop and a models body was used instead of hers...Not sure how Clarence House and House of Windsor / Royal Family will say to this.... read on then.

Every magazine out there probably wants the Duchess of Cambridge as it's cover star, but it'd be virtually impossible for Kate to star on the cover of a glossy mag, so Marie Claire South Africa have decided to photoshop the Duchess onto its front cover.
The upcoming August issue shows 'Kate' posing on the front cover, but actually its a photoshopped image using the body of a model and Kate's head.

The model is wearing a South African ensemble by designer Cliver Rundle, and the magazine's editor Aspasia has reportedly said that it's a tribute to Kate's life as "a modern-day princess" that has inspired them to make her their cover girl.
"We were so inspired by her fairytale wedding and her life as a modern-day princess, which is why we elected Kate Middleton as our cover star for the August issue. The cover is actually a hyper-real illustration of Kate."
She also added: "We have honoured her with a fan-art tribute, dressing her up in clothes by South African designers and placing her in all sorts of fun, everyday situations."
Along with the 'image of Kate' on the cover, the headline reads: "Fashion's new royal icon wears SA's best local designers*", before adding in small print: "*Of course she doesn't. But she should."
What do you think of Kate's cover?

How Many Calories Are In An Avocado ?

Lately , Avocados have been part of my diet. Every now and then am cutting one open and eating it. I know   avocados has got lots of oil in them but i have never really  checked how many calories avocados got. This is what i found when i researched.

Click to show "Avocado fruit" result 1
Even though there are a lot of calories in avocados, they will not harm your diet. Actually, they are quite beneficial. They contain a large supply of healthy fats that your body actually needs. For some reason calories and fats are frowned upon, and most think the less they consume the better off they will be.

So How Many Calories Are in an Avocado?

A serving is 1/2 of an avocado and contains about 153 calories. One medium sized avocado contains roughly about 306 calories, and one large avocado contains about 322 calories.
Ninety-one percent of those calories come from fat. But don’t let that scare you into not eating avocados–a whopping 63 percent of those fat calories come from monounsaturated fats, and 20 percent come from polyunsaturated fats. These aregood fats which your body needs, and they will help to lower your bad cholesterol levels and keep your heart healthy.
Even though avocados contain a lot of calories, they also contain a lot of vitamins and minerals which will fill you up fast and keep you feeling full. You are better off to eat them rather than other foods with fewer calories because they will help you to reduce your cravings and calories for non-diet friendly foods in the long-run.

Singer Adelle Is Pregnant With First Child.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Grammy-winning singer Adele is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki, the singer said on her official website on Friday.
"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me. Obviously we're over the moon and very excited, but please respect our privacy at this precious time," she wrote.
Adele, 24, and Konecki, who is divorced, have been dating since January.
The announcement tops off a whirlwind 18 months that saw the "Someone Like You" singer from the UK become a global sensation with her album "21." The album is still in the top 10 of the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart more than a year after its release.
Adele picked up six Grammy awards in February, including best album for "21" and record of the year for "Rolling In The Deep."

Lauryn Hill Going To Jail ?

Lauryn Hill Going To Jail?
After admitting to failing to file tax returns between 2005 and 2007, former Fugees star Lauryn Hill could be facing three years in jail.
Earlier this month she was charged with failing to file income tax returns.
She earned approximately $1.8 million from recording and film royalties.  As well as spending three years in jail, she could be fined $75,000.
Her attorney Nathan Hochman has said that she plans to pay back the Taxes she owes. Sentencing has been rescheduled until late November to allow Lauryn time to make the payment.
Lauryn had made a statement via her personal Tumblr regarding the non payment of taxes, explaining she did not pay taxes “when it was necessary to withdraw from society, in order to guarantee the safety and wellbeing of myself and my family.”
Lauryn has six children – five of them with Rohan Marley, the son of Bob Marley.
POOR POOR KIDS AND LAUYRN.

Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes split after five years of marriage.

Holmes and Cruise were once so lovey-dovey. ( Eric Charbonneau/WireImage)Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are divorcing after five years of marriage, reports Peoplemagazine. According to the actress’ attorney Jonathan Wolfe, “This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family. Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest." The Hollywood couple wed in a lavish ceremony in Italy in November 2006 with their daughter Suri, then just a baby, by their side.
According to TMZ, the couple has a prenup. Together, they are worth a reported $275 million, with Cruise earning the bulk of that.
Cruise, who turns 50 on Monday, and Holmes, 33, have not been seen together in public since February when they attended an Oscars party together. The actress did not accompany her husband on the red carpet for any of his “Rock of Ages” premieres and was noticeably absent when he received the Friars Foundation's Entertainment Icon Award on June 12 – a big deal considering he is only one of four people to ever get the honor. Her excuse? Holmes had to appear at an ice skating event in China. Instead, Cruise brought along 6-year-old daughter Suri as his date, as well as his 17-year-old son Connor (whom he adopted with previous wife Nicole Kidman). "[Katie's] in China working," he said during his speech. "The women are all working. So Suri is my date this evening. Suri, thank you. My son Connor is [also] here. You guys really inspire me."
Holmes, who has been in New York City with Suri while Cruise has been filming in Iceland, hasn't exactly been acting like a woman upset over the ending of her marriage. In recent weeks, the former “Dawson’s Creek” star has looked happier than she has in a long time, smiling for the cameras, walking around Manhattan, and hanging out with pals – which ironically is exactly how she was living her life before Cruise mysteriously swept her off her feet in April 2005, just weeks after she split from fiancé Chris Klein.

Could This Be The Return Of Spice Girls?

It was a Spice Girl reunion in London on Tuesday when Melanie Brown, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Melanie Chisholm came together to drum up interest in "Viva Forever," an upcoming musical based on the hit songs of the '90s girl group.
The event took place at St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel, where the Spice Girls filmed their music video for "Wannabe" back in 1996. The women looked better than ever as they gathered to talk about "Viva Forever," which will be produced by Judy Craymer, the mastermind behind the ABBA musical "Mamma Mia." The show centers around four women whose friendship is put to the test when their band competes on a TV talent competition show. The musical, which opens this fall, will feature hit songs made famous by the Spice Girls, who sold 75 million records around the world.
The Spice Girls formed in 1994 and shot to fame two years later when they released their debut single, "Wannabe." Some of their other hit songs include "Say You'll Be There," "Spice Up Your Life," and "Viva Forever," which was the inspiration behind the name of the musical.  Halliwell left the group in 1998 and while the remaining four continued to make music together, they called it quits in 2000. This is the first Spice Girls appearance since they all participated in a reunion tour in 2007-2008.
After the event, Beckham — who is now based in Los Angeles where her husband, David, plays soccer for the L.A. Galaxy  — immediately headed back to the States, but the Spice Girls were definitely on her mind. "On my way home!! Thank you @MelanieCmusic @OfficialMelB @EmmaBunton @GeriHalliwell for an amazing day!! "

6 Celeb Moms Who Make Their Own Baby Food

What's inside that little glass jar may seem wholesome, but when it's store-bought, do you really know what you're putting inside your baby's mouth? Former actress and mom of three Liza Huber, daughter of actress Susan Lucci, has made it her mission to educate others about the importance of feeding your children only the finest ingredients that nature has to offer (whipped up with love by mom, of course).
It's easier than you'd think. Some of Hollywood's busiest moms are already doing it for their little ones! We asked Huber to pinpoint six celebrity moms and offer recipes that they (and the little ones!) would love from her popular cookbook Sage Spoonfuls.

January JonesJanuary Jones
1. January Jones: Mad Men star January Jones' cutie, Xander, is 7 months old and likely ready for some new tastes and textures.
"Healthy, no-cook purees are time-saving ways for busy moms to provide healthy homemade meals for their babies," Huber says. "This black bean banana mash is one of my favorites, a delicious and completely unexpected combo that Xander would most certainly gobble up."

Denise RichardsDenise Richards
2. Denise Richards: At 9 months old, Denise Richard's beautiful new daughter Eloise Joni is old enough to eat many of the same things her big sisters, Sam and Lola.
"As a busy working mom, having healthy meals that can feed all three children is certainly the way to go [for Denise]. One of my favorite family meals is a simple roast chicken. It is a healthy, delicious meal the whole family can enjoy together. All Denise has to do is put a little of the chicken and roasted veggies into a food processor and puree to the appropriate texture for Eloise!"

Tori SpellingTori Spelling
3. Tori Spelling: With children Liam, Stella, Hattie, and now a fourth baby on the way, Tori Spelling is definitely one of the busiest mamas in Hollywood.
"At 6 months old, Hattie is still a new eater," Huber says. "One of the best first foods for ababy 4-6 months old is roasted butternut or acorn squash. They are nutrient rich, easy to digest, and not allergenic. An added bonus is that one large butternut squash yields about 25 ounces of baby food, saving mom's precious time by only having to cook once and freeze the rest."

Jessica CapshawJessica Capshaw
4. Jessica Capshaw: Grey's Anatomy starJessica Capshaw has two children and a third on the way.
"For a busy, working and expectant mom , easy-to-prepare meals are key to save time and stress. This muscle man stir-fry recipe is chock full of grains and veggies and is a healthy go-to weeknight meal for the whole family."

Jessica AlbaJessica Alba
5. Jessica Alba: Jessica Alba is playing more roles than just mom and movie star these days. The new mogul and mom-of-two started theHonest Company, which provides parents with healthy and non-toxic products for their families.
"She knows the benefits of homemade baby food and makes her own for her beautiful babygirl Haven. At 7 months old, Haven is ready for new tastes and textures. One of my favorite foods for this stage is lentils. They are nutritional powerhouses and blend well with lots of other foods," Huber says.

Ali LandryAli Landry
6. Ali Landry: TV Host and SpokesMoms founder Ali Landry may seem super busy, but she still finds time to make sure her kids are eating right.
"Ali's baby boy, Marcello, is 5 months old and ready to start eating solids," Huber says. "A wonderful first food for a baby is pear puree. It is non- allergenic, easy to digest, and babies lovethe taste. It can also be soothing to a baby suffering from acid reflux. As an added bonus, cool pear puree straight from the refrigerator is very soothing on a teething baby's sore gums."

Am really impressed with what they do, if they can do, why can,t  we?
